The power of mentoring
The Desjardins Foundation has teamed up with Academos, a French-language program that matches students with mentors for online career mentoring sessions. So far, Academos has paired up more than 65,000 students with some 2,500 mentors who are eager to share their enthusiasm for what they do.
It’s a big world of work out there. A passionate and engaged mentor can help a student navigate their options—and really make a difference in their life!
If you speak French, are passionate about your career and want to encourage students to stay in school, consider becoming a mentor! You’ll be helping students understand the work world and figure out what kind of career they want to have.
